Coffee is a DRUG
No, they are not like weeds, cocaine, or marijuana that makes a person high. Coffee is classified as a drug because it is addictive. The fact is: Drinking a lot of coffee will make your body become chemically adapted, hence, it will be dependent on it - a reaction that is similar to using drugs. But this is not really something you should worry about. However, the forms of habit due to addiction may lead you to gaining weight habits.
Coffee can make you FAT
Although it is not yet proven that coffee can make the drinker fat, many health expert believe that it is one of the culprits that adds weight to our body. No matter how you stick on to your diet regimes if you're a heavy coffee drinker, it is still useless.
Here are some of the theories why coffee may lead to obesity:

- Long term caffeine use can lead to elevated stress hormones (ie Cortisol)
